Slaves to Humanity (STH), Orange County’s promising grunge-inspired rock band, took to the stage Wednesday night as the final opener for Classless Act at Chain Reaction in Anaheim.  Chain Reaction‘s humble setting has been stage to such notable acts as Plain White T’s, Portugal The Man and Death Cab For Cutie in their early days.  Coming off a spirited performance Saturday night at the Whiskey a Go Go, the 5 recently formed members of STH did not disappoint as drummer Shane Ryan continues to lay solid foundation for this band to work from.  Notable performance of the night came thru singer Aidan Amini’s song “Insanity” featuring a thunderous chorus of the 3 metal like guitarists (Max Hickman, Pierce Akers and Nathan Johnson (bass)) rocking side by side through the bridge.  Possibly done as a nod to Guns and Roses connection with the headliner.  Expect new material soon from this gifted quintet as they prepare for a longer set next month at Huntington Beach’s 2nd Floor on April 15th.
